Where Safe As Houses comes in

The Scotland sector within Safe As Houses delivers a model of safe, sustainable, and affordable accommodation solutions across the UK for adults and children who require high levels of care, day-to-day support, and/or somewhere to call home. 

We have been working collaboratively with a wide range of partners who, together, have pooled their knowledge and ideas about what works well in alleviating the chronic lack of future-proof, sustainable, and person-centric accommodations.

The Scotland team at Safe As Houses carries out extensive research and development and has established strong collaborative partnerships with a range of Local Authority Commissioners, Care Home Managers, Registered Providers, and other like-minded stakeholders.

Our model aims to help Local Authorities improve the quality of life for the end-user, enhancing their day-to-day lives with additional care and support within high-quality accommodation that is fit-for-purpose and close to their loved ones/community.

Our approach at Safe As Houses encourages increased joint working around accommodation and support for the individuals and assists in developing and delivering local joint protocols between the care sector services and housing professionals.
