Head of Services - Specialised Supported Housing
Lee is a highly motivated and enthusiastic member of the Safe As Houses team and is dedicated to bringing a better standard of housing to the UK.
For over 18 years, Lee ran a sports coaching franchise that was responsible for the delivery of sports, arts and personal development activities to primary schools in and around the Bristol Area. He also spent time playing at and developing the Metro Stars (now known as The New York Red Bulls) Football Academy in New York City.
One of the key aspects in Lee’s previous role in football was building and maintaining relationships with various stakeholders within local authorities and Clinical Commissioning Groups. This, he sees as an essential part of the role with Safe As Houses and is greatly looking forward to developing new future relationships and partnerships.
Lee’s role within Safe As Houses works in tandem with many of the central tenets of sports principles – Innovate, Adapt and Change – rules change, opposition changes and players change. Within Safe As Houses, we are always looking to find new and innovative ways of providing fit for purpose, future-proofed, high-quality accommodation.
Lee passionately believes in the health and wellbeing of children and young people in school life and the social and emotional benefits that sport and enhanced physical activity can bring. Following his experiences of working with individuals, he seeks to use his knowledge to support the wider community and to create high-quality accommodation and future-proofed environments for individuals with care or support needs.
When he's not working, Lee’s spare time is spent with his family as well as playing, coaching and watching his own boys develop their football skills.
